Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque is a rinse-out hair mask from SheaMoisture built on Fair Trade, Certified Organic shea butter along with castor seed oil and olive oil, meant for dry, damaged, or natural hair that needs more than a standard conditioner provides.

The formula also includes argan oil, avocado oil, aloe leaf juice, panthenol, carrot seed oil, and kelp extract, which together are meant to soften and add shine without a heavy or greasy after-feel. How to use:

• Section clean, wet hair and apply the masque generously
• Comb through from root to ends with a wide-tooth comb to distribute evenly
• Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly
• For a deeper treatment, cover with a plastic cap and apply moderate heat for up to 30 minutes before rinsing (skip the cap if using a hair steamer, since the open steam adds its own moisture)

This is a rinse-out treatment, not a leave-in, so it should always be rinsed out fully after use.
