Redken Volume Injection Conditioner is a lightweight, rinse-out conditioner formulated for fine, thin, or flat hair, in the conditioner category, built around Redken's Bodifying Complex with Filloxane to add body and root lift without the heaviness of a typical cream conditioner.
Filloxane, paired with softening and silicone polymers, coats each strand to help create volume and movement, while also helping protect against breakage on hair that has been color-treated or otherwise processed. Unlike thicker, richer conditioners that can weigh fine hair down and leave it looking oily, this formula is designed to condition while staying light enough to preserve lift at the root.
It's meant to follow shampooing: apply to clean, damp hair, distribute through the lengths and ends, then rinse. Because it prioritizes lightness over heavy moisturizing, it may not deliver enough richness for very dry, coarse, or thick hair, which typically needs a denser conditioner.
