The Goldwell Dualsenses Rich Repair Duo is a two-piece shampoo-and-conditioner set from Goldwell's professional Dualsenses line, formulated for thick, coarse, dry, or damaged hair rather than fine or breakage-prone hair. The Restoring Shampoo and Restoring Conditioner are sold together at matched, full 300 mL sizes and are meant to be used as a pair.
Both formulas are built around Goldwell's IntraLipid technology, intended to replace lipids lost from heat styling or chemical processing both inside the hair shaft and on the cuticle surface, along with a Pashmina silk protein meant to help hair hold more moisture. The conditioner also carries a small amount of willow bark extract.
Both products contain sulfate cleansing agents and silicone-based conditioning agents (Amodimethicone in the shampoo; Amodimethicone and Dimethicone in the conditioner), so it isn't a silicone-free system despite some Goldwell marketing describing the Dualsenses range that way. No developer or professional mixing is required — it's a straightforward two-step wash routine suited to home use as well as in-salon retail.
