This is a rinse-out conditioner — it is the second step after shampooing, not a leave-in product. Shampoo with Color Security Shampoo (or another sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo), then apply a small amount of this conditioner to wet hair, starting about two inches from the scalp and working through the mid-lengths to ends, where hair is driest. Leave on for a minute or two, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Style as usual.
