RE:UNITE Treatment is a rinse-out hair treatment from Unite formulated for damaged, over-processed, or chemically treated hair, including hair extensions. Its conditioning base relies on cetearyl alcohol, bis-cetearyl amodimethicone, and several other silicone and quaternary conditioning agents, with Cynara Scolymus (artichoke) leaf extract included as an antioxidant ingredient.
It's designed to follow RE:UNITE Shampoo: applied evenly from roots to ends on freshly washed hair, left in for five to fifteen minutes, then rinsed out. Unite recommends it as a weekly step rather than a daily conditioner replacement, for hair that needs more than a standard conditioner provides.
The formula is paraben- and sulfate-free, and Unite markets it as vegan and cruelty-free (PETA-certified). Conditioning here comes mainly from silicone derivatives (amodimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, silicone quaternium-16) and quaternary compounds, with the artichoke extract functioning as a smaller supporting ingredient rather than the primary active.
