Fibre Clinix Fortify Shampoo is a repair shampoo from Schwarzkopf Professional for highly damaged and over-processed hair, built on the brand's BONDXTEND Technology, which creates and maintains bonds inside the hair fibre.

It is the cleansing step of the Fortify range. The formula pairs a gentle wash with multi-peptides, the range's key active, which Schwarzkopf describes as strengthening and replenishing the fibre. Hair is left with more shine and a smoother surface, and the cleanse readies it for the Fortify conditioner, treatment or Multi-Repair Spray.

Fibre Clinix splits the work between salon and home. The in-salon BONDFINITY service builds the deep repair, and the at-home BONDXTEND products are designed to reactivate and extend those results between appointments. Schwarzkopf reports up to 83% less breakage for the Fortify range compared with untreated hair. All Fibre Clinix shampoos are colour safe.

It works on its own as an at-home repair shampoo, and it is also the shampoo Schwarzkopf recommends after a Fibre Clinix in-salon service to keep those results going. The 1 L size is the salon pump bottle, handy for stylists or for anyone who goes through shampoo quickly.

Most repair shampoos only cleanse gently and leave the repair to a mask. Fortify Shampoo carries the same BONDXTEND bonding technology and multi-peptides as the rest of the range, so it strengthens the hair at the cleansing stage too.

If you have had a Fibre Clinix service in the salon, this is the shampoo designed to reactivate it at home. If you haven't, it is still a solid first step for hair that breaks easily after bleach or colour.

Apply to wet hair.
Work into a lather through the scalp and lengths.
Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
Follow with Fibre Clinix Fortify Conditioner or Fortify Treatment.
