Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo is a sulfate-free shampoo for colour-treated hair, made with an acidic, pH-balanced formula (pH 6.0-6.6 on the bottle) to cleanse gently while caring for salon colour between appointments.

It belongs to Redken's Color Extend Magnetics line and is built around the RCT Protein Complex, which Redken describes as a multi-targeted delivery system of three proteins drawn to the areas of the hair that need them most. Amino ions form a protective seal around the hair to help hold in colour, while soy protein, arginine and the amino acids glutamic acid and serine condition and replenish the fibre. Redken says the formula strengthens the hair fibre from root to tip and still gives a rich lather.
