Redken Acidic Bonding Curls Silicone-Free Leave-In Treatment is a bond-repair leave-in cream for processed curly and coily hair that also hydrates, restores curl pattern and protects against heat up to 450°F (230°C). It is the third step of the Acidic Bonding Curls regimen, after the Silicone-Free Shampoo and Conditioner.
Colouring, lightening and heat can leave curls weak, frizzy and loose in their pattern. This treatment uses Redken's Curl-Bond Technology, a 16% Bonding Care Complex of citric acid, glycine and urea, to work on bonds and inner curl strength, while avocado oil and camelina oil add moisture and help improve curl elasticity. The formula contains no silicones, so curls get slip and softness without a coating that weighs them down.
- Heat protection up to 450°F (230°C) before diffusing or blow-drying
- Up to 85% less frizz for up to 96 hours when used with the Acidic Bonding Curls shampoo and conditioner (Redken testing vs. non-conditioning shampoo)
- Up to 96 hours of shiny, defined curls with the full system (consumer test)
- Formulated without silicones, sulfates and parabens
After conditioning, apply it to clean, damp hair, leave it in and style as usual. It suits curly and coily textures that have been chemically processed and need repair and moisture in the same step. One 8.5 oz (250 ml) tube.
