Both are built on Redken's Curl-Bond Technology, a mix of citric acid, glycine and urea that targets weakened bonds in processed, damaged curls and helps restore curl strength. Avocado oil, coconut oil and shea butter hydrate and improve curl elasticity. Neither formula contains sulfates, silicones or parabens.
The shampoo gently removes build-up from hair and scalp, and the conditioner gives intense conditioning that Redken says lasts up to 96 hours. In Redken's consumer test, 92% saw healthier, more defined curls after one use of the system. The 85% less frizz for up to 96 hours result is measured with the Acidic Bonding Curls Leave-In Treatment as well, which is sold separately.
