Blacklight Neu:Vio Violet Neutralizing Spray is a lightweight leave-in violet mist from Oligo's Blacklight Blonde Science line that tones yellow out of lighter blonde, highlighted and white hair without an extra wash.

Oligo designed it to be used between Neu:Vio Violet Shampoo and Conditioner washes. The brand says the mist eliminates up to 100% of yellow brassiness when used with the Violet Shampoo, with results lasting 2 to 3 regular shampoos. Since it stays in the hair, it is also handy for travel, when sun exposure tends to pull blondes warm.

The formula is light enough to mist through damp hair before styling. Moringa oil, argan oil and açai extract, along with provitamin B5 and vitamin E, help hydrate and smooth the hair so it feels soft and looks glossy rather than dull after toning.

Recommended for highlighted, coloured, natural blonde and white hair that has developed yellow tones. Oligo states it is free of sulfates, salts, parabens, formaldehyde, MI/MCI, gluten and animal by-products, and not tested on animals. Made in Canada.

Light blondes, highlighted and natural blondes, and white or grey hair that picks up yellow tones. Oligo recommends it for highlighted, coloured, natural blonde and white hair that has developed yellow tones.

Good for people who want to refresh their tone between washes or while travelling. Darker blondes and light brunettes with orange brass should use the Neu:Blu blue spray instead.

Violet shampoos and conditioners only tone while they are on the hair, and yellow can creep back between washes. A leave-in violet mist lets you correct tone without waiting for wash day, and the lightweight conditioning base means it also works as a detangling, smoothing prep before styling. Oligo positions it as the in-between step of the Neu:Vio routine to keep lighter blondes and white hair bright for longer.

Apply to clean, towel-dried hair.

Divide the hair into four sections, mist evenly, and comb through for uniform distribution. Style as usual.

Use once a week, ideally between Neu:Vio Violet Shampoo and Conditioner washes. Results last 2 to 3 regular shampoos. For external use only; avoid contact with eyes and keep out of reach of children.
