Healing Moisture Shampoo is L'ANZA's creamy, non-stripping shampoo for dry hair, built on the brand's Kukui Hydrating Complex and a blend of Polynesian botanicals. It cleans without leaving hair rough or squeaky, and it is the first step of the Healing Moisture regimen.

The formula works into a rich, creamy lather. Alongside the cleansers it carries kukui nut oil, tamanu oil and macadamia seed oil, plus pea protein, sugarcane extract and hyaluronic acid to help hair hold on to moisture after rinsing. L'ANZA lists it as sulfate-free, paraben-free and vegan.

In the brand's own testing, the full Healing Moisture regimen (shampoo, conditioner, hair masque and moisturizing mist) left hair 92% softer than a bleached control, based on instrument testing of surface lubrication.

Use it with Healing Moisture Conditioner. The scent opens on orange and lime, with pineapple and coconut in the middle and a vanilla and tonka bean base. Available in 300 ml and a 950 ml salon size with pump.

Anyone with dry, thirsty or rough-feeling hair who wants a daily shampoo that cleans without stripping. L'ANZA rates it for all hair types, so it works on fine to coarse hair, straight or wavy.

It is a retail product for home use. The 950 ml pump bottle suits households that go through shampoo quickly or salons using it at the backbar.

Most shampoos for dry hair either feel too light to make a difference or coat the hair and leave it limp. Healing Moisture Shampoo sits between the two: a gentle sulfate-free cleanse with nut and seed oils built in, so hair comes out of the shower already feeling softer and is easier to condition. It is designed to pair with the Healing Moisture Conditioner, Hair Masque and Moisturizing Mist when hair needs more.
