The Wet Brush Disney Princess Original Detangler is a kids' detangling hairbrush from the Wet Brush Original Detangler line, decorated with Disney Princess artwork. It uses Wet Brush's IntelliFlex bristles, thin, flexible nylon pins with rounded tips that bend under resistance instead of catching, which is the brand's stated mechanism for detangling with less pulling and less breakage than a standard stiff-bristle brush.

It's built for the same wet-or-dry use as the adult version of the Original Detangler, so it can go straight into a post-bath or post-swim detangling routine on damp hair, or be used on dry hair for everyday brushing. The Disney Princess styling is aimed at children who respond better to a character-branded brush than a plain one, though the bristle design underneath is the same IntelliFlex construction used across Wet Brush's full lineup.

Children, the primary audience given the Disney Princess licensed design, with any hair type or texture who need gentle detangling on wet or dry hair. Also useful for a parent detangling a child's hair. Not marketed as an adult or professional styling tool.

Its bristles are designed to flex rather than resist when they hit a tangle, so the brush works by negotiating around a knot instead of tearing straight through it, the same reason the standard Wet Brush is a common recommendation for detangling kids' hair without a fight.

Use on wet or dry hair. Starting at the ends, brush downward through small sections to work out knots before moving up toward the roots, which avoids pulling at the scalp. Rinse the bristles under water periodically to clear out hair and product buildup.

Pros: IntelliFlex bristles flex on contact with knots rather than snagging, genuinely reducing the yanking that makes kids resist hairbrushing; works on both wet and dry hair; Disney Princess design gives a reluctant kid a reason to want to use it. Cons: it's a detangling brush, not a styling/smoothing brush, so it won't add sleekness the way a paddle or boar-bristle brush would; licensed artwork is cosmetic and doesn't change bristle performance, paying a character-license premium over plain originals; specific princess artwork may vary by which version is in stock.
