Air Whip is designed for finer hair types and for porous hair, which Schwarzkopf names as its target. It suits anyone who blow-dries for body but finds heavier mousses leave hair stiff or weighed down.

Wavy hair can also use it without a dryer: applied to damp hair and left to air-dry, it helps define waves. It needs no professional technique, so it's as usable at home as at the salon chair.

Air Whip is built to be layered: start light for fine hair that just needs body, and add more where you want extra hold. Paired with conditioning amino acids, panthenol and heat protection, that makes it an easy everyday blow-dry prep for hair that's fine or porous.

• Shake the can well before use.
• Hold the can upside down and dispense the mousse into your hand.
• Apply to damp hair, then blow-dry.
• For wavy hair, you can let it air-dry instead for more definition.
• Add more product in layers to increase hold.

Air Whip's strength is control you can dial up: a small amount gives a soft, light hold, and adding more builds hold without a crunchy or sticky feel. Heat protection up to 230°C / 450°F is built in, and the conditioning ingredients leave hair feeling moisturised rather than dry.

Its limit is the same light hold. Thick or coarse hair that needs to stay lifted all day will usually do better with the extra strong OSiS+ Grip. It has to be shaken and dispensed with the can held upside down, and it contains added fragrance.
