Roll-on wax is built for speed on big areas — you're not stopping to reload a spatula every few inches the way you would with a pot wax. The azulene oil is the other reason to reach for this one specifically: it's a long-standing calming ingredient in esthetics, which makes this a reasonable pick for clients who redden easily during waxing.

1. Load the cartridge, roll-on head up, into the roll-on wax warmer.
2. Test a small amount on the inside of your wrist to confirm the temperature is warm and comfortable, not hot.
3. Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of hair growth.
4. Immediately press a cloth strip over the waxed area, smoothing firmly in the direction of hair growth.
5. Hold the skin taut and pull the strip quickly in the opposite direction of growth, keeping it parallel to the body and close to the skin.
