Biolage HydraSource Blow Dry Glotion is a heat-activated priming lotion from Matrix's Biolage line, in the styling-cream/blow-dry-primer category, made to protect hair up to 450°F while blow-drying and let you reshape the style afterward with a flat iron or curling iron without reapplying product.

Part of the HydraSource collection aimed at dry, dehydrated hair, the lightweight gel-lotion texture is built around aloe leaf juice and agave leaf extract for hydration, along with film-forming and silicone conditioning ingredients that smooth the cuticle and help cut down blow-dry time. It's applied to clean, towel-dried hair before blow-drying, aiming the dryer nozzle down toward the ends to help align the cuticle and reduce frizz.

Because the formula contains silicone conditioning agents (dimethicone, dimethiconol) and beeswax, it is not a silicone-free or vegan product, despite some third-party listings describing the HydraSource line that way.
