Frizz Dismiss is a sulfate-free, sodium-chloride-free shampoo formulated to clean hair while working against frizz and dullness. In place of traditional sulfates it uses a gentler cleansing base (sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate) and includes Redken's Smoothing Complex with babassu oil to help smooth the cuticle and add shine while washing. It's meant for everyday cleansing rather than an occasional treatment, and pairs with Redken's Frizz Dismiss Conditioner for a full anti-frizz routine.

What distinguishes this from a typical sulfate-free shampoo is that the smoothing work usually left to a conditioner or serum starts here, at the cleansing step, via the dimethicone/amodimethicone pair layered into a mild, salt- and sulfate-free base — hair comes out already less prone to frizz.
