L'Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Anti-Deposit Protector Mask is a rinse-out hair mask that keeps metal particles from water from settling back into the hair, protecting coloured and damaged hair from breakage and colour fade. It follows the Metal Detox Anti-Metal Cleansing Cream Shampoo in the Série Expert Metal Detox routine.
Copper and other metals in tap water get into the hair fibre over time and raise the risk of breakage and colour shift. Where the shampoo removes them, the mask is the protective step: a hydrating formula concentrated with Glicoamine, L'Oréal's patented molecule for neutralizing metal inside the fibre, that guards against new particle deposits.
It is a fast-absorbing creamy mask that leaves hair less porous and rinses out easily, with the same citrus and musky-wood fragrance as the shampoo. In L'Oréal's instrumental tests of the shampoo and mask together, hair was stronger, smoother and nourished for 72 hours, 2x shinier, and kept its colour longer. Recommended for all hair types and textures, including colour-treated, bleached, damaged and natural hair.
