AG Smooth Argan & Coconut Smoothing Shampoo is a sulfate-free shampoo for frizz-prone or coarse hair, cleansing with gentler sarcosinate and glucoside-based surfactants instead of SLS or SLES, and conditioning with argan oil, coconut oil, and a blend of botanical extracts. It's vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free.

Note for anyone following a strictly silicone-free routine: despite "smoothing" branding, the formula does include a silicone conditioning agent (amodimethicone) for slip and shine, so it isn't a silicone-free product even though it is sulfate- and paraben-free.

For frizz-prone, coarse, or dry hair that wants smoothing and shine without sulfates. Light enough for fine or medium hair too, and suitable for colored or chemically straightened hair.

Frizz control usually comes from silicone-heavy formulas that build up over time. This shampoo gets smoothing from a real combination of gentle, sulfate-free cleansing plus argan and coconut oil, which is a different (and generally lower-buildup) approach — though it still uses one silicone for slip, so it's a middle ground rather than a fully silicone-free formula.
