Not intended for people who haven't had a proper lens fitting, and anyone with an eye condition, on eye medication, or with a history of eye surgery should check with an eye doctor before wearing any contact lens, decorative or corrective.

The reason to reach for costume lenses rather than just makeup or a mask is that they change the eye itself, which is often the most noticeable part of a costume look up close. Because Primal's lenses are made to recognized contact lens manufacturing standards, they're a more responsible choice than uncertified novelty lenses sometimes sold around Halloween, provided they're worn and cared for the way any contact lens should be.

1. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before touching the lenses.
2. Check the lens for damage or debris, then rinse it with fresh multipurpose contact lens solution - never water or saliva.
3. Balance the lens on your fingertip, check it's not inside-out, and gently place it on the eye; apply makeup only after the lenses are in.
4. Wear for no more than 8 hours; do not sleep, swim, or shower while wearing them.
5. To remove, wash your hands, then gently pinch the lens off the eye with a clean fingertip.
6. Clean the lens and store it in fresh solution in a clean case; replace the case every couple of months.
7. Never share lenses with another person, and stop wearing and see an eye doctor if you notice redness, pain, unusual discharge, or vision changes.
