Clean Beauty Repair Shampoo is a strengthening shampoo for damaged or brittle hair, formulated with organic amaranth extract and vegan pea protein to help repair and protect strands while cleansing. It uses a sulfate-free (no SLS, SLES, or ALS) surfactant system built around sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate and sodium cocoamphoacetate, so it lathers gently rather than stripping hair. Paul Mitchell lists the formula at 79% natural origin ingredients, in a recyclable bottle made from 90% sugarcane-based bioplastic.
Beyond amaranth and pea protein, the formula includes botanical extracts (mullein, helichrysum, cota flower, linseed, olive oil unsaponifiables), amino acids and strengthening actives (lysine HCl, proline, zinc PCA, allantoin), and a lightweight conditioning agent (amodimethicone) to help ease detangling without buildup.
