L'ANZA Healing Strength Neem Plant Silk Serum is a lightweight leave-in serum for fragile, damaged hair. It strengthens strands while smoothing frizz and flyaways and adding shine, and it can be used on damp or dry hair.

The serum is built on L'ANZA's Neem Fortifying Complex. Neem seed oil and neem extract help strengthen hair, improve resilience and prevent split ends. The formula also contains hydrolyzed pea and vegetable proteins, ceramide NP, sodium hyaluronate and extracts of barley, sandalwood and lemon, all in a silicone base (cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone) that provides the slip and shine. L'ANZA also lists heat protection among its benefits.

L'ANZA's claim of 7.5x less breakage comes from independent instrument testing of the full Healing Strength regimen (shampoo, conditioner, Detangling Primer and Silk Serum) against hair washed with a non-conditioning shampoo. It is not a result for the serum used on its own.

The serum has moved from the earlier teal bottle to a pale green bottle labelled Silk Serum, which the brand says gives the same results. It is vegan and suitable for all hair types. This listing is the 3.4 oz (100 ml) size.
