Joico K-PAK Clarifying Shampoo is a colour-safe clarifying shampoo that removes product residue, excess oil, chlorine, hard-water minerals and pollutants that leave hair dull and weighed down, without stripping away its shine and slip.
Where many clarifiers leave hair rough, this one balances its detox action with ingredients that protect hair from the inside out: keratin to help replace lost proteins, guajava fruit extract for antioxidant protection against UV damage, evening primrose oil for nourishment, and Joico's SmartRelease liposomes, which release rosehip oil, arginine and keratin to help repair and strengthen hair. Joico reports it also helps protect hair against pollutants (laboratory tested using pollution particles).
It works for all hair types, including colour-treated hair, as a weekly reset or before a salon treatment. The litre bottle is labelled "1 K-PAK Professional" because it is step 1 (Clarify) of Joico's K-PAK 4-step Hair Repair System.
