Biolage Smooth Proof Shampoo is an anti-frizz shampoo for frizzy hair, micro-dosed with cold-pressed camellia oil and filtered glycerin. It gently cleanses and instantly nourishes, leaving hair smooth, sleek and manageable without weighing it down.

Camellia oil acts as a light protective layer against humidity, and glycerin draws moisture into the hair to reduce dehydration and frizz. Biolage says it also detangles, making hair easier to style, and that it suits colour-treated hair and loose curl patterns.

For frizzy hair that puffs up in humidity, from straight to wavy and loosely curly. Biolage lists it as best for medium to thick hair and suitable for colour-treated hair.

Very fine hair may find the smoothing effect a little heavy; it is designed for hair with enough body to frizz.

Frizz control usually starts in the styling step, but this shampoo begins smoothing while you wash: the camellia oil leaves a light protective layer and the glycerin keeps hair hydrated, so there is less frizz to fight later.
