Amika Forget Frizz Anti-Frizz Shampoo is a sulfate-free smoothing shampoo for medium to thick, coarse, wavy and coily hair (types 2A to 4C) that frizzes, and it is the first step in amika's Forget Frizz routine.

It is made with amika's Extended Humidity Shield technology, a mix of heat-activated smoothing molecules and extended-release capsules that help form a silky shield against humidity. Water lily extract helps tame frizz and improve manageability, aloe leaf juice adds shine and helps hair hold its moisture, and sea buckthorn helps nourish the cuticle. amika reports up to 74% less frizz for up to 72 hours in clinical testing.

The formula is certified vegan, colour safe and cruelty free, and free of sulfates (SLS/SLES), parabens, phthalates and mineral oil. Follow with Forget Frizz Anti-Frizz Conditioner. Available in 275 ml and 1 L.

For medium to thick, coarse, wavy and coily hair (types 2A to 4C) that is prone to frizz, especially in humid weather. It is colour safe, so it also suits colour-treated hair.

A retail shampoo for everyday home use. It is designed as the first step of a routine, followed by the matching conditioner.

Forget Frizz starts in the shower: its Extended Humidity Shield uses smoothing molecules and slow-release capsules to keep humidity out of the hair, while water lily extract, aloe leaf juice and sea buckthorn help seal in moisture. For wavy, curly and coily hair that swells as soon as the air gets damp, that means a smoother start before any styling product goes on.
