The Biolage Hydra Source Duo is a boxed set of two full-size products for dry hair: Hydra Source Shampoo 13.5 oz (400 ml) and Hydra Source Detangling Solution 13.5 oz (400 ml). They are the wash and rinse-out conditioning steps of Biolage's Hydra Source routine, both made with fermented aloe and micro-filtered hyaluronic acid.
The shampoo cleanses dry, tired hair without stripping its natural oils, restores moisture balance and adds shine and softness to dull hair. Biolage lists it as vegan, paraben-free, silicone-free, mineral oil-free and colorant-free, and suitable for color-treated hair.
The Detangling Solution is the line's lightweight rinse-out conditioner rather than a heavy balm. It detangles instantly, controls static and frizz and softens hair while keeping the moisture weightless. Biolage reports 6x more hydration after one use when the shampoo and detangling solution are used together, compared with a non-conditioning shampoo.
Biolage positions Hydra Source for dry hair that is fine to medium in texture. For very dry, thick or coarse hair, the Ultra Hydra Source line is the richer option.
