amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Conditioner is a silicone-free rinse-out conditioner for dry, textured or coarse hair (types 2a to 4c), made with hyaluronic acid, squalane and shea butter. It is the second half of the Hydro Rush wash routine and, like the shampoo, amika says it is best for low-porosity hair.
Behentrimonium chloride and guar-based conditioners give slip and detangling, while avocado oil, shea butter and squalane add softness without silicones. Sodium hyaluronate and polyglutamic acid attract and hold water in the hair, and coconut water, blue-green algae and sea buckthorn oil complete the Hydro Rush complex.
amika's clinical results are for the shampoo and conditioner used as a system: 3x more hydrated hair, moisture for up to 72 hours and 50% less breakage. The formula is safe for colour-treated hair and for keratin or Brazilian treatments.
