Redken Extreme Mask is a rinse-out strengthening hair mask for dry, damaged hair, formulated with Redken's Strength Complex with protein plus lactic acid to help restore strength, rebalance pH and add smoothness.

It is the intensive step of the Extreme range, used after shampoo in place of, or as well as, a regular conditioner when hair needs more than daily care. Redken says the mask fortifies damaged hair to be up to 15 times stronger. It only needs a few minutes on towel-dried hair before rinsing.

Hair that is dry, damaged and weak, especially after colour, lightening or frequent heat styling, and that needs a deeper treatment than conditioner alone. It is a take-home salon product that is easy to use at home once or twice a week, or more often on very damaged hair.

Shampoo and conditioner maintain hair; a mask is where you catch up on damage. Extreme Mask concentrates the protein and lactic acid of Redken's Strength Complex into a quick rinse-out treatment, and Redken claims it makes damaged hair up to 15 times stronger. For hair that is breaking or feels rough and porous, adding it to the routine once or twice a week is the simplest upgrade.

After shampooing, squeeze out excess water and apply to towel-dried hair, concentrating on the lengths and ends.
Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly.
