Redken Acidic Moisture Concentrate is a salon-exclusive backbar treatment with 10% glycerin, used by stylists to replenish moisture in dry, damaged or over-processed hair. It is one of Redken's three Acidic Strength Concentrates: stylists dose it on its own or blend it with Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate according to the client's diagnosis, then close the service with Acidic pH Sealer.
The formula helps seal the cuticle, improve conditioning and control frizz. Redken positions the concentrates as a customizable service for three needs: protein, moisture and pH balance. Hair that is dull, brittle, tangled or frizzy calls for a higher share of moisture; hair that feels mushy and lacks elasticity calls for more protein.
Dosing: one pump dose is 5 ml, and the total concentrate mixture should not exceed 15 ml. Redken's guide gives three blends: 1:1 protein to moisture for maintenance, 2:1 for high-porosity, chemically compromised hair, and 1:2 for very dry, coarse or frizzy textures. Apply to towel-dried hair, leave 5 minutes without rinsing, then apply Acidic pH Sealer.
This 500 ml backbar bottle has a dosing pump and is made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. For professional use.
