Redken Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate is a salon-exclusive, customizable backbar treatment with 12% cationic and amino acids that helps improve strength and deliver protein repair to damaged or over-processed hair. It helps seal the cuticle, improve conditioning and add shine.
It is the protein half of Redken's Acidic Strength Concentrates. Stylists use it alone or blend it with Acidic Moisture Concentrate, then finish with Acidic pH Sealer. With the full regimen, Redken reports visibly reversed surface damage in a single treatment and strength repair that lasts up to 10 washes (1:1 protein and moisture blend plus pH Sealer).
Dosing: one pump dose is 5 ml and the total mix should not exceed 15 ml. Redken suggests 1:1 protein to moisture for maintenance, 2:1 for high-porosity or chemically compromised hair, and 1:2 for very dry, coarse or frizzy textures. Leave on towel-dried hair for 5 minutes, do not rinse, and follow with Acidic pH Sealer.
The 250 ml pump bottle replaces Redken's earlier syringe packaging, uses 48% less plastic and is made from 100% recycled plastic (excluding the pump). Redken describes the formula as vegan. For professional use.
