Pairs well with

Pureology Perfect 4 Platinum Conditioner is an intense daily conditioner for blonde, colour-treated hair, including hair lifted four or more levels, that moisturizes and detangles while boosting brightness and shine.

Its strengthening formula is designed to fortify fragile, lightened hair and help it hold on to colour, and it includes Pureology's Antifade Complex. The scent is a blend of pear, peony and vanilla. It is a creamy rinse-out conditioner rather than a purple toning formula, so it is used for softness and manageability, not for cancelling brass.

This listing is the 8.5 oz (250 ml) bottle in the original serious colour care packaging. Perfect 4 Platinum is no longer part of Pureology's current range; the brand's blonde care line today is Strength Cure Blonde.

Blonde, highlighted or platinum colour-treated hair, especially hair that has been lightened four or more levels and feels dry, tangly or fragile.

It is a daily rinse-out conditioner for home use. Anyone who needs to cancel brassiness will need a separate toning product, as this conditioner is not a purple toning formula.

Bleached and highlighted hair needs more slip and moisture than an average conditioner gives, or it snags and breaks when combed. Perfect 4 Platinum was Pureology's everyday conditioner for exactly that hair: it softens and detangles while its strengthening formula helps the colour stay bright. Pureology's current blonde care range is Strength Cure Blonde.

  • After shampooing, apply a quarter-sized amount to wet hair.
  • Massage through the lengths and ends.
  • Rinse well.

Pros:

  • Made specifically for lightened blonde hair, which tends to be dry and porous
  • Detangles well, which helps limit breakage on fragile ends
  • Daily use, no extra step in the routine

Cons:

  • Does not tone brassiness
  • Contains mineral oil and silicones, which some prefer to avoid
  • No longer in Pureology's current range, so it will not be restocked once sold out
