Phyto Phytokeratine Exceptional Cream is a leave-in styling and treatment cream formulated for ultra-damaged, brittle, and dry hair, including color-treated and over-processed strands. It is applied to dry or damp hair and not rinsed out, so its conditioning ingredients continue working on the hair fiber between washes rather than being rinsed away.
The formula is built around a botanical, plant-derived keratin, which Phyto positions as helping to rebuild and reinforce the hair fiber, paired with two nourishing plant fats: sapote seed butter and baobab seed oil. These are included to soften strands and add slip to hair that has become brittle from chemical processing or repeated heat styling. The cream also contains hydrolyzed corn, soy, and wheat proteins alongside conditioning agents such as saccharide isomerate, ingredients commonly used in reparative leave-in formulas to improve elasticity and reduce breakage.
Phyto positions the cream for three uses: as a daily leave-in, applying 2 to 4 pumps to dry hair depending on thickness and length; as a targeted touch-up smoothed over dry mid-lengths and ends between washes; and as a pre-heat-styling treatment applied to damp hair before blow-drying, to help buffer strands against thermal damage. Because the texture is ultra-fluid rather than a thick balm, it is meant to be worked through without leaving hair feeling coated or weighed down.
This is a leave-in product, not a rinse-out mask, and it is not a substitute for shampoo or conditioner. It is intended to sit on top of a normal wash routine for hair that needs extra reinforcement against breakage, dryness, and frizz.
