Matrix Color Obsessed Shampoo is an antioxidant shampoo for colour-treated hair that cleanses while helping protect against fading and extend the life of your colour. It is the cleansing step of Matrix's Color Obsessed system, sold before the relaunch as Total Results Color Obsessed.

Keeping colour bright between salon visits is mostly about what happens in the shower. This formula renews moisture to help strengthen porous, damaged hair, adds shine, and gives a little lift at the roots. Sunflower seed oil and vitamin E (tocopherol) sit in the formula alongside the antioxidant claim. Matrix reports colour protection for up to 32 washes when it is used with Color Obsessed Conditioner, compared with a non-conditioning shampoo.
