Biotop 19 Pro Silver Hair Mask is a violet-pigmented toning treatment formulated for platinum blonde, silver, white, and gray hair, built to neutralize yellow and brassy undertones while conditioning the strand. The formula contains CI 60730 (Ext. D&C Violet No. 2), a violet colorant that deposits onto hair to counteract warmth, alongside conditioning agents like stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, and amodimethicone that smooth the cuticle.

Panthenol, calendula extract, sunflower seed oil, castor oil, and vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) round out the formula to add moisture and shine on top of the toning effect. It's part of Biotop's 19 Pro Silver line, paired with the brand's 19 Pro Silver Shampoo for a full toning routine, and can be used on chemically lightened or bleached hair as well as naturally gray or white hair.

To use, apply generously to clean, towel-dried hair after shampooing, working from mid-lengths to ends. Leave on for 2 to 5 minutes, checking tone periodically since processing time affects how much pigment deposits, then rinse thoroughly. Because it deposits pigment, leaving it on longer than needed can shift the tone more than intended, so a strand test is worth doing on first use.

For platinum blonde, silver, white, or gray hair — whether naturally gray/white or chemically lightened/bleached — that develops yellow or brassy tones between salon visits.

Purple shampoos tone hair in the brief window before rinsing, which limits how much pigment and conditioning actually reach the strand. Formulating the same violet pigment into a mask instead gives it several minutes of contact time plus the conditioning agents a mask carries, so toning and softening happen together rather than in separate, rushed steps.

It's built specifically around lightened, bleached, or naturally silver/gray tones rather than as a general-purpose conditioner, so the toning effect is the point, not a side benefit.
