The CROC Premium Infrared Black Titanium Flat Iron 1.5" (model CROCP-IBT) is a professional hair straightener that pairs 1.5-inch nano titanium plates with CROC's patented infrared heating and a ceramic heater. It is built for all hair types, including colour-treated and coarse hair, and is used both behind the chair and at home.
The infrared element sits inside the plates and is visible as a red glow when the iron is on. CROC says the infrared heat helps seal the cuticle, which is where the extra shine comes from. The plates are nano titanium with a tri-plate design, and a built-in negative ion generator works alongside them to cut static and flyaways.
Heat is set digitally between 270°F and 450°F, in 10-degree steps, for 19 settings in all.
