Suited to fine or limp hair that needs volume without added weight, and to wavy or curly hair types looking to define their natural texture rather than smooth it out. Works across genders and hair lengths, though very coarse or already-voluminous hair likely won't notice much lift from it.

Fine or limp hair often falls flat again within an hour of a blowout because most of what's giving it lift is heat and brushing technique rather than the product itself. Texture 02 works differently — its salt and light film-forming polymers physically roughen and lift the hair's surface, so volume comes from the strand structure rather than just from styling. That makes it useful specifically for building texture that holds up through the day, not just through the initial style.

Mist generously onto damp hair before styling. From there, either blow-dry for a fuller finish, diffuse or scrunch with a cupped diffuser to encourage natural wave or curl, or let hair air-dry.

It won't leave hair stiff or sticky the way stronger-hold texture sprays can, since the salt-and-polymer combination is a lighter-hold system — but that also means it's not a substitute for a firm-hold product on hair that needs real all-day hold. On the plus side, it works on wet or damp hair before any other styling step, so it layers easily under a diffuser-dry or air-dry routine without extra product changeovers.
