Phyto Paris RE30 is a daily leave-on scalp spray formulated to work at the hair root to slow visible greying, rather than covering grey strands with color. Its central ingredient is Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-20, marketed by Phyto as the "RE30 peptide," designed to support the hair follicle's own melanin-production process during the growth cycle. The formula also includes purple tulip (Tulipa Gesneriana) flower extract, intended to act on keratin-associated proteins and reinforce the hair fibre as it grows in. Because the peptide works during regrowth at the bulb, it addresses hair as it comes in going forward — it does not change the color of grey hair that has already grown out.
The spray is used once a day on a dry or damp scalp — 8 to 10 pumps covering the whole crown, followed by a gentle massage — and is left on rather than rinsed off, so it fits into a routine more like a scalp serum than a treatment mask. Phyto recommends daily use for a minimum of three months before assessing results, noting visible change may begin as early as the second month for some users, and that the routine can continue indefinitely, including between salon color appointments. Each 1.69 fl oz bottle is formulated to last about one month of daily use, so a complete three-month course requires three bottles.
RE30 is not marketed as organic or all-natural. Only a handful of ingredients on Phyto's own list — including the purple tulip extract, an ethyl ester of hydrolyzed silk, and maltodextrin — are called out as botanical or natural in origin; the rest of the base is built from alcohol denat., water, glycerin, lecithin, fragrance, and synthetic actives including the tetrapeptide itself. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, silicones, or talc.
