Phytokeratine Extreme is a repairing shampoo formulated for hair that is very damaged, dry, or brittle — including over-processed and color-treated hair. In place of a plain water base, the formula leans on peony flower extract along with hydrolyzed corn, soy, and wheat proteins meant to work like keratin, filling in gaps along the hair's cortex as you cleanse.

It's a sulfate-free shampoo, built around gentler surfactants (sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, cocamidopropyl betaine) rather than sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, and finished with baobab seed oil and sapote seed butter — a plant butter the brand positions as an alternative to shea butter, not shea itself — to help soften hair and ease detangling.
