Heat settings are programmable/adjustable rather than fixed to a single high setting, letting the same iron run cooler for fine or color-treated hair and hotter for coarse or curly hair. A customizable auto shut-off can be set for up to 120 minutes, which is a safety feature for anyone prone to forgetting to unplug styling tools, though it is a timer rather than a guarantee — the iron will still stay powered until that window elapses.
It runs on automatic dual voltage (110–240V), so it can be used internationally with a plug adapter, and the 9-foot cord swivels to reduce tangling during use.
