Matrix Food For Soft Multi-Use Hair Oil Serum is a leave-in, no-rinse oil for dry hair that seals in hydration and adds shine, infused with avocado oil and hyaluronic acid.

It is the finishing step of the Food For Soft system: used after the shampoo and conditioner or mask, Matrix reports 7x more moisture for up to 72 hours versus a non-conditioning shampoo. It also protects against heat up to 450°F (232°C) and can be applied to wet or dry hair. The scent combines sweet vanilla and warm amber.

It comes in a 50 ml dropper bottle; use more drops for higher-porosity hair.

All hair types that run dry, including colour-treated hair (Matrix: best for sealing in moisture and enhancing shine).

Higher-porosity hair can use more drops; fine hair should start with one or two. For home use.

Moisture you add in the shower escapes quickly from dry, porous hair. A few drops of this serum lock it in, smooth the surface for shine and protect against heat styling, which is why Matrix makes it the last step of the Food For Soft routine.

After shampoo and conditioner or treatment mask, apply several drops to wet or dry hair.
Do not rinse.
