KMS Moist Repair Conditioner is a silicone-free rinse-out conditioner that makes combing easier, repairs damage and replenishes moisture in weak, dry hair prone to breakage and split ends. It takes two minutes after shampooing.

Compared with untreated hair, KMS reports it reduces breakage and split ends by up to 98%, makes detangling up to 4 times easier and improves elasticity by up to 98%. It is designed to moisturize even very dry hair without weight, improve manageability and restore the hair's natural protective power.

Key ingredient: upcycled prickly pear (Opuntia ficus-indica) stem extract, which KMS says restores long-lasting moisture, softness and shine with regular use
Conditioning base: cetearyl alcohol, cetrimonium chloride, behenamidopropyl dimethylamine, glycerin and panthenol
Fragrance: green citrus, jasmine, freesia and orris, with a woody, musky finish

It follows the Moist Repair Shampoo and is available in a take-home size and a salon size.

Hair that is dry, weak and breaking, from heat styling, chemical services or simply length and age. KMS lists it for all hair types and emphasizes that it moisturizes without weight, so fine hair can use it too.

It is a straightforward rinse-out conditioner for home use; salons can use the 25.3 oz (750 ml) size at the backbar.

Anyone who needs heat protection or a leave-in finish will need an additional product; this one is rinsed out.

Breakage and split ends are the visible end of dryness and lost elasticity. This conditioner works on that chain directly: it detangles so less hair snaps during combing, restores moisture with prickly pear extract, glycerin and panthenol, and, according to KMS, improves elasticity by up to 98% compared with untreated hair. It does this without silicones, so repeated use doesn't lead to build-up.

Apply to shampooed hair.
Leave in for 2 minutes.
Rinse.
