A no-rinse conditioner from the KMS Add Volume line, the Add Volume Leave-In Conditioner detangles and conditions without weight while adding fullness. KMS states it gives hair up to 40% more volume.
Most conditioners trade lift for slip; this one is built to avoid that trade-off. The formula pairs light conditioning agents with VP/VA copolymer and polyquaternium-11, film-forming polymers commonly used for body and grip, so the same step that makes hair easier to comb also helps it hold volume. Eucalyptus leaf and cinnamon bark extracts appear in the ingredient list alongside lactic and malic acid.
It goes on after shampooing and stays in, so there is no extra rinse. The scent is light, with herbal, floral and citrus notes. Note that the formula contains alcohol denat. and silicones (trisiloxane, PEG/PPG-14/4 dimethicone), which helps it stay weightless but means it is not silicone-free.
