Joico K-PAK Colour Therapy Luster Lock is a leave-in-then-rinse treatment for color-treated or chemically damaged hair, combining African manketti oil, argan oil, and keratin with Joico's SmartRelease delivery system — a liposome technology that continues releasing rosehip oil, arginine, and keratin into the hair after it's applied, rather than depositing everything on contact.

It can be used two ways: as a quick rinse-out treatment on damp hair after shampooing, or as a pre-shampoo treatment applied to dry hair before washing. Either way, contact time is short — a few minutes, not a long overnight mask.

For color-treated or chemically processed hair that needs added shine, softness, and color protection. Suitable for all hair types and for weekly use at home or in the salon.

Color-treated hair loses shine and structural integrity over time, and the SmartRelease delivery system is the real mechanism behind why this keeps working after it's rinsed — it's releasing rosehip oil, arginine, and keratin gradually rather than washing all of it out immediately.

As a rinse-out treatment: apply to clean, damp hair, leave two to five minutes, then rinse. As a pre-shampoo treatment: apply to dry hair, leave two to five minutes, then shampoo as usual.
