Joiwhip Firm is Joico's firm-hold styling foam, built to add volume and control shape without the stiff, sticky cast some firm-hold mousses leave behind. On Joico's hold scale it sits at a 7, a step up from a light volumizing mousse but still brushable.

The foam's hold comes from a blend of polyquaternium-11 and VP/VA copolymer, backed by a keratin-and-peptide complex (hydrolyzed keratin plus four styling peptides). Kukui nut oil (Aleurites Moluccana seed oil) is included for shine and to soften the foam's feel on hair. It's rated for thermal protection up to 232°C/450°F, so it can go on before blow-drying or hot-tool styling.

Joiwhip Firm is formulated without parabens or silicones.

Reach for it when you want a mousse that actually holds — for root lift, volume-based blowouts, or texture that needs to survive the day — without the hard, glued-down feel some firm-hold foams leave behind, and you also want that hold step to protect hair from heat styling.

Shake the can well. Turn it upside down and dispense a golf-ball-sized amount into your palm. Work it through damp hair from roots to ends, focusing on the roots for lift, then blow-dry or style as usual.
