It earns its place over a plain volumizing mousse or root-lift spray by doing two jobs from one can: a first pass on damp roots gives lift going into the blow-dry, and a second pass on dry lengths locks the shape afterward, which is the two-step method Goldwell itself recommends. The bamboo shoot extract and UV-filtering elastomer are there to keep that lift from coming at the cost of hair strength or color fade.
