Protective Conditioner is the rinse-out step of Joico's Defy Damage line, built to detangle and reinforce color-treated or heat-stressed hair after shampooing. Its formula leans on real plant oils and butter — sunflower seed oil, soybean oil, olive fruit oil and olive oil unsaponifiables, and shea butter — alongside amodimethicone and quaternary conditioning agents that give slip and static control.
