Recovery Shampoo is the cleansing half of TIGI Bed Head's Urban Anti+Dotes system, positioned at Damage Level 2 — the tier aimed at dry, moisture-deprived hair, one step up from the everyday Re-Energize (Level 1) formula and one step below the more intensive Resurrection (Level 3) line for brittle, heavily processed hair. It's a sulfate-based, color-safe cleanser meant to be used at every wash rather than as an occasional treatment.
Alongside cleansing, it's formulated with dimethiconol, a conditioning silicone that helps ease detangling and add slip while the sulfate surfactants do the actual washing, plus ingredients TIGI positions toward color-fade protection for dyed hair. It's meant to be the first step in the Recovery routine, with the matching Recovery Conditioner handling the rinse-out conditioning that follows.
