Stucco Matte Clay Paste is a styling clay from AG built on kaolin clay and sea silt extract to create a matte, moldable texture with light-to-medium hold. It uses carnauba wax and PEG-40 castor oil rather than a heavy petroleum-wax base alone, and includes a blend of botanical extracts (chamomile, calendula, rosemary, sage, nettle, hops) for conditioning.
It suits fine to medium hair that needs texture and separation without shine, and is commonly used by men for a thickened look; it also works on curly hair after diffusing, adding volume without weighing curls down. It does contain a small amount of silicone (lauryl PEG-8 dimethicone), so it isn't a silicone-free product.
To use, rub a small amount between palms to emulsify, then work through damp or dry hair, shaping and molding as desired.
